The screenshot pretty much says it all, read the post in the background for context.
I've used Linux pretty much since giving up on OS/2, but am these days pretty much OS agnostic; I don't care as long as the platform has the tools I like to use, and these are moving more towards the web anyway.
Despite that, it is sort of funny to see an enthusiastic Linux noob suggesting that a fix for a simple problem is to install a whole OS, configure and learn how to use it, learn how to install some third party software, configure and learn how to use that. Probably could have suggested fixing world hunger, too.
And then, very likely, still get the same dialog shown in the screenshot here.
(This was a previously semi-working – ie, very unstable – installation of Kdenlive, BTW).
